Former players slam hockey team, selectors for dismal Olympic performa
New Delhi, Aug 30 (ANI): Former Indian hockey veterans have lamented the countrys miserable performance in the recently concluded London Olympics. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi today, former player and captain Dhanraj Pillay alleged that the main senior players were overlooked and the squad was selected on the basis of a quota system. Another former Indian captain, Rajpal Singh questioned the appointment of the national coach Michael Nobbs and wondered about the basis of his selection.
