Former Nepal king Gyanendra gets rousing welcome in Birgunj
Birgunj (Nepal), Feb 20 (ANI): Hundreds of people gathered by the roadside to welcome former king of Nepal, Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah, who is on a three-day visit to Birgunj town in Parsa district. He was accompanied by Queen Consort Komal Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah. The former king's supporters shouted slogans in favour of the return of monarchy in the country. Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah was the last king of Nepal before Monarchy was abolished on May 28, 2008.
