Floodwaters inundate Nepal’s Birgunj
Birgunj (Nepal), July 30 (ANI): The flood situation continues to be serious after heavy rainfall since the past few days have caused heavy damages in Nepal’s Birgunj town. During the relief and rescue operation, the Sadbhawana Party helped in evacuating thousands of people to a safer ground. Meanwhile, more than hundred people have died in the floods. People continued to spend sleepless nights outside their flooded homes, with no sign of help coming from the local administration. Heavy rainfall forced people to vacate their homes and move to safer areas. People have taken shelter in relief camps and relief distribution centres.
