Dhanraj Pillay urges on single governing body for Hockey
Coimbatore, July 04 (ANI): Former hockey player, Dhanraj Pillay has said that the two hockey federations at loggerheads, Hockey India (HI) and India Hockey Federation (IHF) should end the fight for power and authority. Interacting with reporters on the sidelines of a school event in Coimbatore, Pillay also stressed on the need for a single governing body for Hockey. Meanwhile, Pillay noted that renowned tennis players like Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupati and Sania Mirza should stay away from controversy and concentrate on their performance in the upcoming Olympics.
