Meet 19 year old Priya Singh, a junior shooter from Meerut’s Mawana subdivision.
Daughter of a dalit labourer, Singh defied all odds to shoot her way for the ISSF Junior World Cup to be held in Suhl, Germany from June 22. Priya, who made it to the coveted event with a borrowed rifle, however, doesn’t have the financial wherewithal to support her career and may have to miss the championship.
