Christian communities hold protest against Pastors manhandled in Kanyakumari temple, Cauvery issue

Chennai, Apr 28 (ANI): Two pastors were manhandled by some miscreants inside Arulmigu Mutharamman Temple in Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari. Tamil Maiya Organisation on Saturday condemned the incident and staged a protest in Chennai. J.G Raj, Member of Tamil Maiya Organisation blamed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and hindu outfits affiliated with the RSS and said that they will resist forces of violence by strength of the non-violence. The incident occurred on April 22, when the pastors were found distributing pamphlets. The video shows the pastors sitting in the temple with their faces covered in ash while one of the miscreants is seen chanting 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. The incident occurred on April 22, two pastors were manhandled and forcefully applied with holy ash and kumkum by some miscreants inside Arulmigu Mutharamman Temple in Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari. The pastors were found distributing pamphlets when the incident occurred. The protestors also raised several issues during the protest from which Cauvery issue is one of issues.
