Challenge is to safeguard unity& integrity of India against the divisive politics: Sitaram Yechury
Vishakhapatnam, April 19 (ANI): CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury on Sunday said that the challenge is to safeguard the unity& integrity of India against the divisive politics. Yechury was on Sunday unanimously elected by the Central Committee of the party as the new General Secretary. At the meeting of the Central Committee, outgoing general secretary Prakash Karat proposed Yechury's name for the position of General Secretary and SR Pillai seconded it. Yechury is the fifth general secretary of the 50-year-old party.
