Kanker (Chhattisgarh), Mar 11 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday arrived in Chhattisgarh’s Bandatola village in Kanker District to attend the ‘Lok Suraj Abhiyaan’ on Sunday. Chhattisgarh CM gave polio drops to children and interacted with the people. Singh also went to a villager’s house and reviewed thread work. He also showed his satisfaction that no ration complaint has been recorded. Government claims ‘Lok Suraj Abhiyaan’ is one of the largest "social audit exercises" in the country. ‘Lok Suraj Abhiyaan’ which was started in 2005, involves government officials visiting each gram panchayat to collect suggestions and listening to local-level problems. This is followed by a problem-solving exercise with the Chief Minister and other ministers visiting different parts of the state.
