CM Raje flags off 'Smart Annapurna Vans' on World Food day
Ajmer (Rajasthan), Oct 17 (ANI): On the occasion of World Food Day, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje kicked off the second stage of Annapurna Rasoi Yojana in Ajmer district to provide cheap and healthy food to poor and needy people. She kicked off the scheme by feeding two women with her hands. On this occasion, CM flagged off 51 Smart Mobile Vans to various cities. Chief Minister Raje said 500 vans will start serving Breakfast in just Rs. 5 and lunch and dinner in only Rs. 8 in all 191 local bodies of the states before December 13, 2017. Till now breakfast and lunch were being served through normal Rasoi Vans but now food will be distributed through Smart Rasoi Vans. Under Annapurna Rasoi Scheme, nutritious food is served at subsidised rates to poor and needy.
