In a dramatic development that took the corporate and others by surprise, Cyrus Mistry was on Monday sacked as chairman of Tata Sons and was replaced by Ratan Tata, who will be the interim chairman for four months. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and suspended Samajwadi party leader Shivpal Yadav on Monday exchanged heated arguments and accused of damaging each other’s image during a party meeting in Lucknow. Battle lines have been drawn on social networking site Twitter as Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab former chief minister Amarinder Singh engaged in a war of words on Monday and promised to engage in an open debate ahead of the 2017 assembly elections in Punjab.
