BJP MP showers currency notes at 'Ahir' community religious festival
Somnath, April 18 (ANI): BJP MP Punamben Madam stirred a controversy as she was caught on camera showering currency notes at an 'Ahir' community religious festival. When asked, the MP claimed that ritual of showering money in this manner has been going on for ages. She further claimed that the motive behind money-generation was gau-seva, building of a bhawan, and construction of a hostel for female students. Meanwhile, the Congress slammed the minister over the incident.
