Anupam Kher Says Proud To Take Over As FTII Chairman
Veteran actor Anupam Kher has been appointed as chairman of Film and Television Institute of India, FTII, replacing Gajendra Chauhan whose tenure ended in March. Kher has previously held the post of chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification and the National School of Drama. Although a section of FTII students have opposed Kher’s appointment, the Bollywood fraternity seems to have welcomed the move. Talking to media, the veteran actor said that he is experienced enough to take on the responsibility.
