The story of the LGBT themed film explores issues faced by homosexuals and their loved ones in contemporary Bengali and Indian society. Dipankar Dey and Anasuya Majumdar play the roles of Rudras parents in the film, also representing a quintessential upper class educated Bengali family. The story is not only about homosexuality, but also how society deals with it in the modern era.
