Amitabh Bachchan honoured by UNICEF for spreading polio awareness
New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Bollywood superstar and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Amitabh Bachchan, was felicitated by the organisation's representatives for India, for the actor's active role in spreading awareness for polio immunisation. UNICEF representative for India, Louis Georges Arsenault, while addressing the felicitation ceremony held in New Delhi said India's victory over polio is a huge credit to those who painstakingly mobilised communities for polio vaccination and continue to do so even today.
