8 naxalites killed in an encounter, cache of arms, ammunition recovered
Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Apr 27 (ANI): Special Director General (Anti-Naxal Operations) D M Awasthi on Friday said that at least eight naxalites were gunned down by the Chhattisgarh security forces in collaboration with Greyhounds squads in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. Out of eight killed naxalites, six were women and 2 were men. Awasthi also informed that huge cache of arms and ammunitions were also recovered from them. The bodies of naxalites were taken to Bijapur for the identification.
