38 army aspirants caught for forging documents

Aurangabad, May 29 (ANI): As many as 38 army aspirants were booked by the city police for attempting to get into the army by submitting fake certificates. The forged documents in question were submitted during the recruitment drive conducted in Aurangabad in July 2015. The candidates have been booked by the Cantonment police under IPC Sections 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating) and 471 (using as genuine a forged document or electronic record). Reportedly, they were misguided by somebody to submit fake documents and ultimately got caught. The candidates from places like Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Solapur and Dhule submitted their documents to the authorities concerned. However, M P Singh, director, Army Recruitment Centre, Aurangabad, reportedly noticed that these candidates had passed their SSC and HSC from other places, but had submitted domicile certificates of Aurangabad.
