13 jawans detained by Nepal police to be released soon, says SSB
New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): SSB confirmed on Sunday that 13 jawans have been detained by Nepal police. SSB’s Inspector General (Operations) Deepak Kumar told that two jawans accidentally crossed Indo-Nepal border near Bihar while they were chasing diesel smugglers after which villagers handed them over to the police. He added that the rest eleven jawans were detained while they crossed border to help in rescuing the detained soldiers. Kumar further confirmed that the soldiers will soon be released. Nepal’s APF (Armed Police Force) had made the detention on being alarmed by the villagers.
