11 killed 15 injured in bus-tempo collision on Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway
Palgarh, May 25 (ANI): At least eleven people were killed and 15 others were injured after a bus and a tempo collided on NH8 in Palghar district of Maharashtra on Monday. The accident occurred at around 3:30 am near Talsari village when the tempo collided with a luxury bus which was on its way to Surat. Reportedly, a five-year-old girl is among the people who were killed in the accident. According to media reports, the prima facie evidence suggests that the tempo driver fell asleep at the wheel, leading to the crash.
The injured have been admitted to the nearby hospitals.
