1 injured after supporters of Panneerselvam, Dinakaran clash ahead of RK Nagar bypolls
Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Apr 09 (ANI): A clash broke out between the supporters of Tamil Nadu former chief minister O Panneerselvam and the supporters of AIADMK Deputy Chief TTV Dinakaran in the politically-crucial RK Nagar assembly on Sunday. At least one supporter was injured in the clash which was later brought under control. Dinakaran is the party's candidate for the RK Nagar assembly seat, which goes to polls on April 12. The seat fell vacant after former chief minister J. Jayalalithaa's demise in December last year. Nearly two lakh voters are expected to exercise their franchise in this constituency.
