'Daddy' won't portray gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli as hero: Arjun Rampal

Mumbai, Mar 24 (ANI): Bollywood actor-cum-producer Arjun Rampal, whose upcoming movie 'Daddy,' is based on the gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli's life, shared that his role in the film won't be portrayed as a hero. Arjun, who was recently present at FICCI Frames 2017 along with director Ashim Ahluwalia, talked in depth about his film based on Gawli. When Arjun, who has co-written the script for the first time, was asked about his views on getting a clearance from the CBFC, he said that when he started the film, he did not think too much about it. But now that you people are talking about it, he was a little worried about it. On a related note, ' Daddy' is tentatively slated to be released in July. Besides Arjun, the film also features Farhan Akhtar portraying the role of Dawood Ibrahim.
