Finland News: This northern European country shares its border with Russia, Sweden, Norway and Estonia. Finland is one of the least populated European countries. It is famous for its purest water contents having a number of lakes and rivers covering almost one tenth of the country?s area. Finland has some of the glorious architectural designs based in its modern and trendsetting capital of Helsinki. The National parks of Lemmenjoki and Oulanka situated in its north and eastern part offer lushgreen wild and trekking opportunities for the tourists. Moreover, the Finnish towns are laden with avant-garde designs with some very articulately built churches that still uphold centuries old tradition of the country. Historically, Finland was under the rule of Sweden followed by Russia and thereby the country?s culture depicts an amalgam of both cultures. Tourists coming to this place can never miss out on the adventure, which lies beyond its exotic scenic sites.
