Benin News: This West African country was earlier known by the name Dahomey. It shares its border with other African countries such as Togo, Niger, Nigeria and Burkina Faso. Benin is politically stable but its economy is yet underdeveloped and less modernized. However, it has a lot more to offer in terms of tourism, as there are a number of places to be ventured. This country is laden with enthralling natural scenic sites and a variety of exotic wildlife, notably in Pendjari. Besides this the country contains a plethora of historical relics and ancient buildings, which date back to the slave trade, particularly at Ouidah.
