Completion of Euro cup failed to dampen the spirit of Mumbaikars as they came out in numbers to celebrate the First Football Marathon in Mumbai. A large number of fans and football enthusiasts were there to inspire the young generation to take the football as a hobby and even a career option.

To give these celebrations a good start there were well known persons from the entertainment and sports. Ace Indian footballer IM Vijayan and Bollywood star Arshad Warsi were also there to cheer the crowd. IM Vijyan said that he is feeling proud to be the part of this effort. On the other side Arshad Warsi expressed his love for the game of football. Apart from these two actors Devshi Khandoori was also present there to cheer the crowd. Actor Murali Sharma also expressed his love for football. This initiative of football Development foundation has raised hope for football. And such efforts are needed to make football popular.
