16 policemen killed in China's Xinjiang province

New Delhi, Aug. 4 (ANI): At least sixteen policemen were killed and 16 others were injured after a border patrol armed police division in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was raided Monday morning.

 

Two attackers, who drove a tip lorry to break into the police station in Kashi at about 8 a.m. were arrested, Xinhua quoted a police source, as saying.

 

They threw two grenades, which caused the explosion. (ANI)
