'Blown off' Levi Johnston may sue Palin family

Washington, Thu, 23 Apr 2009 ANI

Washington, April 23 (ANI): Levi Johnston, the father of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's first grandchild, has said that he may file suit against the family for not letting him see his son Tripp.

The 18-year-old, who claims he saw his four-month-old son "a couple weeks ago", revealed he had teamed up with a lawyer hoping to force his ex-fiancée Bristol Palin to honor his visitation rights.

Johnston said that the family had blocked all communication and he found it an "an uncomfortable thing" to go over the Palin household to see his lad.

However, the teen dad added that despite the legal threat, he still wanted peace to prevail between the two families.

"We're not in a big fight with the Palins. I still like the family very much and think we can work things out," the Politico quoted him as saying in an interview on CNN's "Larry King Live".

Johnston further added that things had worsened since his appearance on "The Tyra Banks Show", saying: "My dad talks to Todd a lot and after I did that first interview with Tyra he now just doesn't call. They blew us off."

While Johnston said he gave the interview to tell his side of the story without looking for any monetary benefits, the Palin family said "Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration and even distortion of their relationship."
