New Delhi, April 16 (IANS) An 11-year-old student of a government school here went into a coma after she was punished by a teacher, police said Thursday.
Shanno was asked Wednesday by her class teacher Manju in M.C primary school in Narela in outer Delhi to recite the alphabet, failing which she was punished.
'The girl fainted after she returned home in the evening. She was rushed to Maharishi Valmiki hospital and is in coma since then,' Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer) Atul Katiyar said.
