London, July 26 (ANI): A majority of British women don't want wear bikinis because they are afraid they will look awful, a new survey has found.

According to the study, those aged 16 to 24 most fear looking fat - even if other people say they are not.

The research revealed that a quarter would consider cosmetic surgery and almost half diet before going on holiday.

"It is worrying that so many women are feeling self-conscious," The Sun quoted a spokesman for Del Monte Ice Creams, who carried out the research, as saying.

Actress Denise Van Outen once said that size zero models were making "normal" curvy women want to stay covered up. (ANI)
