Hyderabad Police releases the Sketch of Lumbini Park blasts suspect

Aug 29: In the development of the Lumbini Park twin blast case held in Hyderabad on Aug 25, the local police toady has released the sketch of a suspect assuming one of the main accused behind the heinous blast that killed at least 42 people.

The Local Police on Wednesday released the sketch of a man expected to be one of the two persons who are in the prime suspect after the Special Investigation Team has identified the suspected person by questioning to the eyewitness of the blast.

The Andhra Government has set up a Special Investigation Team, SIT to solve the case quickly and to provide some relief to the state and central government. The SIT has taken the help of experts from Mumbai in drawing the sketch of the suspects, and seems to go closer to the target.

According to SIT, the suspect is 25 years of age, 5 feet and 8 long, fair in colour, smooth hair and was seen carrying a black bag and moving around the crowded park on the spot at the incident period. The sketch has been made on the behalf of the information given by the person sitting next to the suspect on the occasion. This computer generated sketch has been cross-examined by the witness and it is believed that it is 90 percent accurate picture.

M Punna Rao, the head of SIT and Additional Commissioner of Police denied to disclose the identity of the person before the reporters, who helped the police in preparing the sketch. He was interacting to media regarding the development of Lumbini Park Blast Case.

According to Police, after the blast police has conducted the raid in all over Hyderabad and nearby districts to nab the victims of the twin blasts. The police are suspecting over two persons assuming the main accused in which one of them can be Sharifuddin, a Bangladeshi citizen who have certain relationship to Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami, a new Islamic terror group.

According to the sources, Police have questioned to at least 50 persons so far including Pakistani and Bangladeshi as well as three injured of the incidents to estimate the suspected persons on the spot.
