Dinosaurs disrupt Jacko's sensational comeback!
London, Mar 12 (ANI): King of pop Michael Jackson's plans for a sensational run of comeback concerts in London have been disrupted by a show on dinosaurs.
The 50-year-old singer wanted to stage a summer spectacular at London's O2 Arena by taking over the venue for a two-month residency.
However, his plans have been stalled for almost a week in August (09)- by a show featuring fake prehistoric monsters, Walking With Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular.
Its organisers have already booked in to the O2 for a six-day stint in the middle of Jackson's planned run, and thousands of tickets had been sold.
The Thriller hitmaker had to plan his live revival around the dates already taken by the monster show.
"Jackson's people have been in talks with the venue bosses about his comeback for months. Whatever time period was agreed on, Michael wanted to block-book the Arena for a residency," the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.
"But his people were told there was no way it could happen as so many other shows were booked in advance.
"Eventually he settled on the summer and agreed to work around any shows already booked.
"Michael Jackson might be the biggest pop star in the world - and these shows are the hottest ticket in town - but not even he can override pre-existing contracts," the source added. (ANI)
