Your kitchen has far more germs than the loo!
Kuala Lumpur, July 10 (ANI): The next time you go on a cleaning spree, make sure you give your kitchen a good scrub, for a new global survey has found that your toilet is more like to be cleaner than the place you cook your meals.
The survey, commissioned by the Global Hygiene Council, found that the kitchen in the average home was likely to have more germs than the loo.

As a part of the poll, researchers questioned 10,000 people across 10 countries, and found that while people toilets and areas around dustbins as the most contaminated spots, the truth was far different.
The council comprises a panel of global experts in microbiology, virology, infectious diseases, immunology and public health, reports The Star Online.
It was also found that tablecloths used daily in every household are badly contaminated and could pose a health hazard.
Changing the tablecloths frequently is not necessary, say the experts, for washing and soaking them in hot water or antiseptic regularly will do the trick. (ANI)
