Lahore, July 10 (ANI): The Taliban reportedly carried out an attack on the Indian consulate in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, in the wee hours of morning, killing six persons, including two Indians, and injuring eight others, reported the Daily Times.
A Pakistan TV channel quoted Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid as saying that his men attacked the Indian Consulate with bombs.
According to the channel, the injured also include Indian nationals and Afghan security personnel.
This was the second attack targeted at Indians. On Monday, a suicide bomber had blown up his car right in front of the Indian embassy gates in Kabul. (ANI)
