Mumbai, Dec 21 (ANI): Youngsters of Mumbai held a peace rally here against terrorism and felicitated relatives of the security personnel who laid their lives fighting against militants during last month's Mumbai attacks.Students from several colleges of the city converged to voice their solidarity with the victims and the martyrs of Mumbai attacks.
"We just want to show the strength of the youth to fight against terrorism because youth is the energy who could be able to provide to the nation the strength to fight against terrorism," said Samya Shinde, teacher, LS Raheja College.
The parents of Major Sandeep Unnikrishanan, who laid his life while flushing out the militants from the Taj Hotel during the Mumbai attacks were applauded by the students.
The parents of Unnikrishnan and the wife of Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) chief Hemant Karkare, who was also killed in the Mumbai attacks, were felicitated during the rally. (ANI)
