Sydney, Dec 16 (DPA) Lleyton Hewitt and wife Bec Cartwright have taken a page from the idea books of Davis and Victoria Beckham by naming their newborn son Cruz.
The Beckhams used that name three years ago when the third of their three boys was born in Spain as their footballer father played for Real Madrid.
Hewitt and Cartwright waited nearly a week after the birth to announce it.
Cruz joins three-year-old sister Mia in the family, with Hewitt aiming for a tennis comeback in a fortnight after hip surgery when he plays for Australia in the Hopman Cup in Perth.
'All are doing well and are very excited about the new addition to the family,' a brief website statement read.
