Pranab meets Secretary General of Arab League

Cairo, July 3 (ANI): Visiting Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee today met Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa shortly before his departure for New Delhi after completing a three-day bilateral visit to Egypt.
Official sources said that Mukherjee briefed Amr Moussa on the issues like India's economic growth, including bilateral ties with Egypt, his "very good meetings" with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Aboul Gheit.

Mukherjee also briefed Amr Moussa about the developments in oil price, the South Asian region, including Indo-Pak relations and the progress of the composite dialogue process between the two countries.
Pranab also discussed with Amr Moussa the prevailing situation in West Asia, including the Palestine conflict, and the situation vis-à-vis Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan.
Prior to the meeting, Mukherjee visited the Pyramids at Giza and the National Museum. (ANI)
