Three parties to hold meeting with Madhesi parties today
Kathmandu, July 1 (ANI): The Nepali Congress (NC), the Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) and the Maoists will jointly hold a meeting here today with the Madhesi parties to work out a common proposal for constitutional amendment.
The meeting of the three parties, held at the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction, ended on Monday evening without reaching any decision regarding the demands of the Madhesi parties for incorporating the Madhes autonomous province and collective recruitment of Madhesis in national army in the proposed bill to introduce the fifth amendment of the constitution.

"We agreed to hold meetings with Madhesi parties to resolve the deadlock. But we are not going to accept the demand for single Madhes province," said Mohan Baidya Kiran, senior Maoist leader.
