Ne-Yo knocks Coldplay off top spot in singles chart
London, June 30 (ANI): US R and B star Ne-Yo's 'Closer' has climbed one place to knock Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida' off the top spot in the singles chart.
The singer, last week's number two, claims his first best-selling UK single for two years, reports BBC.
However, Coldplay remained Britain's number one album with Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends for a third week.

The band's fourth album shifted more than 300,000 copies in its first three days of release to become one of the fastest-selling records in history.
Jordin Sparks took the highest new entry with No Air, while Chris Brown climbed one place with Forever at four.
Rihanna rounded off the top five singles with her Take A Bow track.
In the album charts, Coldplay, Duffy and Neil Diamond stuck to their slots with Darren Styles' Skydivin' the highest new entry at four.
Sigur Ros' Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust entered at five while Exclusive by Chris Brown completed the rash of new entries at six.
The other new entry in the album top ten was the Jonas Brothers' eponymous record, in at number nine. (ANI)
