Man gets life term for raping minor in Gujarat

Anand (Gujarat), Nov 15 (IANS) A local court here Saturday sentenced a man to life term for raping an 11-year-old girl in a village in Gujarat in January this year.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs.300 on Tribhuvan and ordered that his punishment would be extended by a month if he failed to pay the fine.
The crime took place in Dagjipura village in Anand district when the girl was returning home after delivering milk to a local dairy.
Tribhuvan raped the girl at knife point and threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident.
The girl told her parents about the attack and a case was filed Jan 13.
