Hindus embrace Jada Pinkett Smith over religious teachings

London, Oct 31 (IANS) Hollywood actor Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith have been praised by a Hindu chaplain in the US for teaching their children sacred texts.

Contactmusic.com reports that Jada Pinkett recently revealed she was giving her kids basic teachings from all major religions and Rajan Zed wants to help the actress promote his religion. He has invited them to worship and will gift a few books to the couple.

Zed said: 'I applaud Jada Pinkett's statement that she and her children study world religions as a family. I'd like to invite them all to a Hindu temple, so they can have first hand experience of Hinduism. I have arranged to supply a set of Hindu scriptures to help Jada Pinkett and her family grasp the comprehensive understanding of Hinduism.'
