Bhupathi-Knowles advance, Paes-Dlouhy falter at Basil

Basil, Oct 24 (IANS) India's Mahesh Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles cruised into the quarter-final, but the other Indian Leander Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy failed to make the semi-finals of the Davidoff Swiss Indoor tournament here.
Bhupathi and Knowles, seeded second, beat Spanish duo Marcel Granollers and Feliciano Lopez in 6-4,6-1. They next play Australian Jordan Kerr and Finland's Jarkko Niemen who outplayed Spaniards Oscar Hernandez and Albert Montanes 6-4,6-3.
Paes and Dlouhy went down to German pair Christopher Kas and Philipp Kohlschreiber 3-6, 0-6.
