Prachanda to take action against those involved in killing of TMDP cadres

Kathmandu, Oct 23 (ANI): The parliamentary session of the Constituent Assembly (CA) will resume from Thursday after Prime Minister Prachanda assured to take action against those involved in killing of the Terai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) cadres in Kapilvastu.

Prachanda met leaders of the TMDP this morning and assured to take action against the killing of TMDP's two activists in Kapilvastu.

According to the TMDP leader Mahendra Yadav, the Constituent Assembly proceedings will take place soon after Home Minister Bamdev Gautam provides assurance from the government side today.

The TMDP lawmakers had been boycotting the Constituent Assembly session since Sunday.

TMDP activists Sarullah Musalman and Ram Prasad Kurmi Chaudhary were shot dead by unidentified gunmen at Titirkhi in Kapilvastu district Wednesday evening, Kantipur reported. (ANI)
