Katherine Heigl, hubby considering 'adopting' Korean baby

London, October 19 (ANI): Katherine Heigl and hubby Josh Kelley have drawn up plans to adopt a Korean baby by next year, according to reports.

The celebrity couple has allegedly decided upon South Korea since Heigl's elder sister, Meg, was adopted from the country.

Meg is said to have been a strong influence on Heigl's life, a fact that has encouraged the couple towards adoption.

"Meg has had a profound impact on Katherine's life, which is why she and Josh are trying to adopt a Korean child," the Daily Express quoted a source as telling the 'National Enquirer'.

"They've chosen an adoption agency and have started filing the necessary paperwork.

"They haven't gone public with the news yet because they want to make sure there are no problems before they make an announcement," the source added.

Previously, the 29-year-old 'Grey's Anatomy' star revealed that she believes it was not essential to produce kids biologically.She said, "I'm done with the whole idea of having my own children. It doesn't seem like any fun. I don't think it's necessary to go through all of that." (ANI)
