Castro says it's 'miracle' Obama hasn't been assassinated in 'racist' U.S.
London, October 13 (ANI): Former Cuban President Fidel Castro sees it as a "pure miracle" that U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has not been assassinated as yet.
He believes that most people in America cannot accept the idea of a black man winning the White House race.
"Profound racism exists in the United State," the Telegraph quoted him as writing about the U.

"Millions of whites cannot reconcile in their minds with the idea that a black man with his wife and children would move into the White House, which is called just like that - White," he wrote.
The ailing Cuban communist leader also described Obama as a politician who "has the habit of looking at his opponent with serenity and laughing at his rhetorical attacks."
Castro also mocked Republican candidate John McCain's poor grades at the naval academy, and insisted that vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin "knew nothing at all about anything." (ANI)
