London, Dec 26 (ANI): Frank Lampard's ex Elen Rivas engaged in a bitter row with the Chelsea star and his fiancee Christine Bleakley on Twitter, expressing her resentment towards not allowing her to contact her kids on Christmas.
The Chelsea star, 33, was engaged to Spaniard Elen for seven years before splitting in November 2008, and the couple have two children together, Luna, six, and Isla, four, the Mirror reported.
But on Christmas Eve, Rivas, 35, accused the footballer and his fiancee Bleakly of banning daughters from contacting her on Christmas.
"Sad a father would stop his children from speaking to their mother over Christmas," Rivas wrote.
"You would have thought the girlfriend would have a little maternal understanding," she wrote, taking a clear dig at Christine, 32.
Retorting to the tweet, Bleakley told her 80,000 followers: "I'd happily put the record straight but really don't think twitter is a place to do it when children are involved." (ANI)
