Islamabad, Dec 8(ANI): Pakistan People's Party (PPP) member and former law minister Babar Awan has said rumours circulating against the country's government do not need any discussion or response.
Awan blamed media for conducting the trial of one individual for the first time in the country's history.
Awan said the PPP Government would complete its tenure, without paying any heed to the 'rumourgate', The Dawn reports.
He further said Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari would hold a joint session of the Parliament on the recommendation of the National Security Council.
Awan said Pakistan's institutions would work in harmony, and the government would not compromise on the national security. (ANI)
