Pranab Mukherjee to inaugurate fourth International Tax Dialogue conference

New Delhi, Dec 5(ANI): India is hosting the fourth International Tax Dialogue (ITD) conference on tax and inequality.

Over 250 foreign delegates are expected to take part in this three-day conference being held at Vigyan Bhawan from December 7 to 9.

The conference would be inaugurated by Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

A number of prominent academics and representatives of regional and international organizations will also be present at this high level conference which will have senior level representation from over 100 countries.

The ITD conference will provide a unique and timely opportunity to address on important question facing each country, that is, to what extent taxation can be seen as part of the solution to growing inequalities in income and wealth. (ANI)
