Islamabad, Nov 25 (ANI): Pakistan's Minister for Textile Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin has said the issue of giving Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status to India has not been finalised as of now.

Shahabuddin told the National Assembly that both the countries were still busy discussing its knity gritty and some other issues, adding that the cabinet approved this status to allow the process of normalisation of trade relations with India, The Nation reports.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has insisted the term 'MFN' was not being understood rightly, adding that this status was nothing but a way to normalise trade relations between the two countries. She said after this status, Pakistan would start trading with India, like it does with other countries.

Several groups in Pakistan protested the decision of giving MFN status to India. (ANI)
