Paes-Dlouhy in Japan Open semis

Tokyo, Oct 3 (IANS) India's Leander Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy beat German Philipp Petzschner and Alexander Peya of Austria 6-2, 7-6 (4) to enter the semi-finals of the AIG Japan Open Tennis Championships.

 

The top seeds Paes and Dlouhy, who are on a six match winning streak after winning Bangkok Open last week, swept aside Petzschner-Peya in 69 minutes.

 

 

The Indo-Czech combine next meet American Robert Kendrick and Jarkko Nieminen of Finland, who beat Americans James Cerretani and Ashley Fisher 6-3, 6-2.
