35 killed in North China road accident

Beijing, Oct 8(ANI): At least 35 people were killed and 18 others injured in an expressway crash in north China's Tianjin city.

 

The accident occurred at around 4 p.m.(local time) on October 7, when a coach overturned after colliding with a car on the Tianjin expressway, Xinhua reports.

 

Tianjin's traffic management bureau official Wang Qiang said the heavy casualties occurred because many passengers were thrown out of the coach when it hit the car and rolled over.

 

Qiang said the injured were rushed to local hospitals for treatment.(ANI)
