Rihanna loves 'badass' role in new movie 'Battleship'

Wellington, Sept 3 (ANI): Rihanna has revealed that the character she is playing in new movie 'Battleship' is a "badass", and that she enjoys portraying a "killer".

Rihanna, who has a leading role as Lieutenant Raikes in the upcoming action movie, was impressed with her character's knowledge of artillery and admired the Lt. Raikes' commando spirit.

"Lt. Raike's this badass weapons officer; she knows everything about weapons, not only hers, but all the weapons on board," Stuff.co.nz quoted her as telling Entertainment Tonight.

"She's a fighter. She's a killer. She's not afraid of anything. She likes a challenge because she can handle it," she explained.

Battleship will be released in summer 2012. (ANI)
