New York, August 31 (ANI): A New York strip joint, Hustler Club, is once again in the news for hustling a drunk patron out of big bucks.
A Manhattan man is suing Larry Flynt's West Side jiggle joint after he racked up a bill of nearly 30,000 dollars when he was bombed.
W.A. Ilg claimed in his lawsuit that he was served enough booze during a May 24 visit that he got to the point where he "was no longer capable of conducting financial transactions."
"Thereafter, defendant wrongfully charged 28,109.60 dollars to \[ Ilg's\] credit card, a sum far in excess of any reasonable costs for said alcoholic beverages," The New York Daily News quoted the suit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court as saying.
In court papers, Ilg said he demanded that the Hustler Club return the money following his big night out, but that his plea was rejected.
"In refusing to return plaintiff's 28,109.60 dollars, defendant has committed a fraud and wrongful conversion upon the plaintiff," the suit said. (ANI)
